UK Exchange Applications Open 2026

Don't miss this chance to visit a place where the only difference between Summer & Winter is that it turns from one shade of green to another.

The exchange will run from early October to November 2026 during the UK’s busiest month for dairy events. It includes return air fares and hosted accommodation with Holstein UK members’ dairy farms throughout England, Wales (Cymru), Scotland & Ireland.

The exchange winner will have the unique opportunity to experience the dairy industry within a culture rich in history and tradition, whilst also gaining firsthand exposure to the latest advancements in European technology. The successful applicant will also have the chance to participate in one of the UK's world-renowned agricultural shows.

Last years winner Harry Dodd said he was incredibly thankful for the opportunity to meet new people in the industry and that "It has been a lifechanging experience that will be greatly cherished."

Entry is open to Australian passport holders aged 18 to 26 years who can demonstrate a tangible connection with the Australian dairy industry. To be eligible for the exchange, applicants must be able to travel between 2nd October & 3rd November 2026.

Holstein Australia membership is not a pre-requisite to apply for the exchange but the exchange recipient, must be a Holstein Australia Youth, Associate or Full member at time of travel.

Once you have applied send a resume and contact details for both a dairy industry referee and a personal referee to John Crowther at youth@holstein.com.au. We will confirm receipt of all applications via email including a copy of your application
