Master Breeder Sale: Arnum Holsteins, Friday 8th May 2020
The dispersal sale of Master Breeder Arnum Holsteins, Peter & Wilma Mackay, takes place Friday 8th May, 11am, at Warragul Sale Yards and live online at www.stocklive.com.au.
It will be the end of a 40 year era for Peter and Wilma Mackay, who have dedicated their lives to building their high production herd of Registered Holsteins.
Commenting on the family’s legacy, Alex Scott and staff auctioneer, Terry Ahearn said: “Through their strong interest in breeding top quality cows, over the years they were able to realise their vision of attaining a remarkable 100% top quality herd. In recognition of their achievements and dedication to the industry Peter and Wilma rightfully gained the award of Master Breeders.
“A lifetime of hard work, and a love of what they do, is testament to their show-quality large frame cow herd that has been premium bred for its high yielding produce. Due to retirement of this farming family, this industry award acknowledged herd will now be available to the astute buyer.”
