About the IDW Youth Challenge
The IDW Youth Challenge is a unique opportunity for young dairy enthusiasts from across Australia to showcase their skills, teamwork, and passion for dairy cattle. Open to youth teams, this event emphasises various skills essential to all aspects of the show ring, including animal handling, preparation, clipping, judging and showmanship.
How to Enter
Holstein Australia encourages youth groups and individuals interested in the dairy sector to form teams and enter the competition.
To secure your spot in this exciting competition, read the Youth Challenge Entry Criteria and then email youth@holstein.com.au with the team captain name, email address and mobile number by Friday 12th December.
Team members must be under 22 years of age on the day of competition, with each team including at least three junior members (under 15 years old). Each team is restricted to three working members over the age of 18. Team coordinators do not necessarily need to be part of the working team and can be outside the competitive age limit.
