The Holstein Australian Master Breeder Award recognises the long-term achievement of individuals and their families who have made a lasting contribution to the improvement of the Holstein breed, in many cases following a lifetime of dedication and commitment to the breed.
Since the award launched in 1992, there are now 201 Master Breeders in Australia, including fifteen breeders who have been awarded the title on more than one occasion.
To achieve this award, they must breed at least 300 registered animals over a minimum of 20 years and the total number of points must exceed the total number of females bred within the 20 year period.
