1. Registration pending

The registration of animals sold as ‘registration pending’, such as those resulting from embryo transfer, is subject to verification of the animal’s parentage and compliance with the Holstein Breed Standard for conformation and colour markings. There is always a small risk that an animal may not be eligible for registration.

2. De-registering animals

If an animal is to be sold as unregistered, please confirm this in writing with the buyer and return the registration certificate to Holstein Australia.

3. Delayed settlement

Holstein Australia can provide an escrow service if an animal is sold under delayed settlement terms. This service authorises Holstein Australia to hold the Registration Certificates on behalf of the vendor until the contract is complete. Holstein Australia will release the Registration Certificate only when the vendor has received full payment and has completed the “Authority to Release” form or when the Purchaser has submitted proof of payment to Holstein Australia.
